May 2007 - Version 2.1 is released

ATSCo affliates InTIME have started work this month for several members, including Preferred IT who have recognised the software's potential for their business.

Preferred IT will be among the first companies to use a new version of the software, which gives recruiters flexible approval routes, a standalone expenses tool, shared commission and a rating system.
\
Developer Louis King explains how InTIME arrived at these innovations for customers:-

"I think we must be the first software company to do these things. Approval routes are a tremendous issue for agencies and clients and we saw how we could make the software flexible whilst still being automatic."

"Say you have a client's line manager who can sign timesheets, but only with a Director's approval. InTIME lets you do that. If the frontline manager has approved but you're still waiting for the Director, that's exactly what your weekly report will show. It takes the mystery out of your client's internal communication - no more excuses!"

"Shared commission is a feature that I think would only occur to programmers with a background in the industry. If two consultants have both played a part in the deal‚ maybe a hunter-gatherer pairing with an account handler and a resourcer, you can set InTIME up to give them each a share of the commission. Likewise, if your sales managers have a share of the commission earned underneath, this makes it easy.

Surprisingly few agencies collect candidate feedback on their timesheets, even though it gives a continual picture of temps' performance that you can present to future customers. In sectors like healthcare and nursing there is a tendency for clients to want quarterly feedback surveys on every candidate and we have something much simpler now. A bonus for me has been the interest this is attracting from regulatory bodies who need to keep track of professional conduct.
