May 2007 - Purchasing Forum announced with ATSCo and Baker Tilly
ATSCo members have a lot in common and especially in the services and products they buy to support their recruitment. InTIME, the recruitment software firm today launches a forum to get better prices for members.
InTIME's Daniel McPherson explains:-
"Recruitment companies are always working in competition but purchasing is one area where ATSCo members could be getting real savings by collaborating. Looking at our own clients, there are major overheads in areas like IT equipment and telecoms services."
"We see a pattern where service providers are charging very large mark-ups to new customers - but as soon the volume goes up, the price falls dramatically. By joining forces and leveraging membership of ATSCo, I think recruitment firms could gain hugely."
The purchasing forum will be free-of-charge and InTIME are keen to stress that they won't be looking for a cut.
Daniel continues "Organising something like this is cheaper than people make out and it gives our business even more of an insight into the industry. I know that the knowledge we gain will help us find new ways to save clients money."
ATSCo members who are interested in joining the forum can find out more by joining the forum event planned for April.
